Why are women always associated with cars and when did it all start?

You see it on the covers of magazines as well as in magazines, and you see it it in music videos–Sexy looking women posing beside cars and crouching next to shiny rims in high heels. Why are women always associated with cars and when did this all start?
To my knowledge, I’ve never seen any magazines with a hot looking man posing next to a car in a speedo on the cover of a magazine, haha. Why is that? I am a woman who is interested in cars, so it would be nice to see. ^ – ^ Just curious.

I’m a fairly new driver that has really got into cars the past couple of years. I know how to do all the basic stuff (oil changes and what not) but I really want to learn how everything in a car works and how to fix them, if there is ever a problem. Also, I’m really into Nissan z’s and mustangs, cars that are always being modified, and I would like to know how to install those. Is there any good informative books or movies out there that teach you this stuff?
Why do new cars have a delay in acceleration?

I drive new cars occasionally for my work. The new cars we have are 2010 Dodge Caravans and 2010 Chevy Express vans with the 6.0 liter V8. I’ve noticed something with these vehicles, when you hit the gas, it takes a second for it to go. My ’98 Chevy truck isn’t like this at all. I find that delay in the new vehicles kind of annoying. Why do they have that delay?
Why do the blinkers in cars blink out of sync with each other?

Out of all the cars I’ve seen I have never seen to cars with the same blinker “timer” if you will. I have never seen two cars have consistently the same blinker time going on.

(For example, Google partner or Amazon partner.) If not, are there any local places where parts for older cars may be purchased? Thanks!

Why do most cars still have analog speedometers instead of digital ones?

With all the digital electronics in cars today, why do they still use analog speedometers? They used to have digital ones in the 80′s, but we’ve taken a big step backwards in putting analog ones in new cars today.
Why do some manufacturers have engines in other cars?

Hi, I’ve noticed over the year that some car manufacturers are putting engines from other manufactures into their cars. How is this possible ,like how are they allowed to do that? Just recently I checked a Belgian Supercar with a Maserati engine and another manufacturer called Morgan with a BMW engine and some other manufacturers with AMG engines. I just don’t understand. Isn’t the engine the main part of the car?
What is the point of cars going up to like 200mph but most speed limits are around 70-80mph?

Like for example, if one state has a limit of 80mph yet all of the cars can go to like 150mph so what would be the point of making cars go faster than the speed limit?
