What degree prepares you to repair computers?

I want to know what kind of degree prepares you to repair computers? Associate? Bachelors?
How come my computer does not register the other computers in the network?

I am trying to get remote desktop connection going, for the computers in the same network. The problem is, my computer (Windows 7) does not seem to register the other computers on the network.
Can anybody point me in the direction that might solve this issue? The other computers are xp, if that makes a difference. The other computers are xp, if that makes a difference.
How to hook up multiple computers without a router?

Okay, I have a wireless router in the one bedroom with a Desktop. The room next to that has a laptop. And we have a computer in the garage without internet & that one needs internet. The kitchen has the phone line which is the middle of all the computers. The router is far though. Is there anyway we can hook up two computers on the phone line thing? Like get a sepreate cord & a splitter or something? By the way i have AT&T internet

I really have no idea what Im talking about but I want to create operating systems and computers (Im going to be the next Bill Gates :p) what programs should I look for and what are some good colleges besides MIT and all those. Most computers that I see in flyers come without monitors and there are very few that do come with them. Why the sudden shift?

Will it take longer to download a torrent if two computers are downloading a separate torrent but they’re both on the same wireless network, or will it not make a difference?

Question 2: Can you connect two computers to a router regularly by way of cables like a dsl modem instead of using its wireless. Afraid someone will steal my wifi and i’m aware that you can set a password.
