Dining Out
Are there places you could dine out in the Dallas area if you have food allergies?
Dec 30th
My friend has a baby with food allergies. He is allergic to wheat, dairy, soy, nuts, sesame seeds. I am wondering if there are places you could dine out if you have so many food allergies. Since so many places have to use peanut oil to cook with it would seem impossible. Are there any places that allow you to call ahead and maybe they could prepare the child’s food separately? We are looking for places in the Dallas, Mesquite Texas area. Please don’t give rude answers. Thanks in advance!!!

any out there have issues when dining out at red lobster?
Dec 17th
OKay so for the past year or so I have been taken out to eat at red lobster (by friends and family because they know the only thing I really eat apart from fruit and veggies is sea food), and I have to say every time I go their food is so… old tasting to me.
I went a few weeks ago and have decided it was my last time. they brought me a lobster that tasted like cod :-\ the shrimp was mooshy and the baked potato was WAY to salty! I mean so much so it made me gag.

San Francisco Restaurant Tax and Tip?
Nov 29th
My friend says that whenever he goes out to eat in San Francisco (where there is a health fee on every person dining to cover health insurance for the workers), he deducts what he paid for the fee from the tip. Is this a good idea or would it seem rude.
He says that they are already benefiting from the tax so it should be deducted.

Last night was our first night open, we are a new restaurant that just opened up. Last night i made $69.00 in cc tips, then gave me that in cash, punched some numbers in a calculator and told me i owed $35 to the house, and i walk away with $34. I must tip out the busser, the runner, the hostess, and the “captain” who is the floor manager. They are basing the % off my gross sales. They say this is the way it always is in a fine dining restaurant. I always though it was illegal to be More >
