Where are the best spots to dine near Time Square or other places in NYC?

I am going to NYC for a week next month and want to find out the best breakfast, bagel and dinner spots in Manhattan. We are staying near the theatre district/Time Square area.

My family and I dine out frequently, and it’s not escaped our notice that hard-working waiters and waitresses have to deal with not only the stress of a very fast-paced job that requires phenomenal multi-tasking, but they have to put up with more abuse in a night than most of us would put up with in a month! We’ve also noticed that some “groups” have not yet mastered the custom of tipping for proper service. My girlfirend who is an excellent cook by the way, wants to open a fast food Italian style place on the 300 block of Armitage.
She has a great concept and would do great in my opinion. Italian pastas, gelato to come in the summer, sandwiches, pannini’s, dinner items, salads, Italian pastries and homemade cookies. I don’t see a place near there with this menu. It would be to take out for home or work or to eat there. Prepared foods that are ready to go and More >

Heading to Old Town Pasadena with an out of town friend to do some shopping & lunch. We plan on starting in Old Town-what’s not to miss & where should we eat lunch? Also, some other great shopping areas in Pasadena ie clothing & home decor stores??
Best/ Worst dining experience?

Worst-Grant it…I like the few times I go out to eat but the WORST experience I had was when I was with a group and the restaurant waitress forgot 2 orders, dropped 1 all over the floor, and then had to take back a burger that was too “rare” for anyone to eat. No refunds…nothing BEST- when a “hot” waiter sang for our table to show off his talent, and then insisted that our table sing for him. (Kind of embarassing, but we tipped well)

Does the economy affect what you tip?

I am a waitress and with the economy going downhill, people seem to tip less when they dine out. Many people who depend on tips for incomes (hairdressers, bartenders, etc.) are struggling to make money….Maybe its gas prices or inflation? Maybe they cannot afford to eat out? Do you still tip 15% to 20%? Just a question I want to hear opinions on.
Dining in Disney World!!?

Ok, so I am going to Disney World for the first time next month. We have some places picked out to eat already (The Sci Fi Theatre, The Rainforest Cafe) What are some places we should eat? Not just dinner places but also lunches and breakfast places too!
Also what is your absolute FAVORTIE thing about Disney World?
