I’m getting married with an engineer girl . she wants to work 6 days and 8 hours a day .
I think that Its much better for the family to have a mother / wife spending her time to manage the hause and the Kids .
Which of us are right ? I’m an engineer too . my income is very good and we don’t need her income . she just want to work because she think she has studied for more than 7 years to become an engineer .

What should I get my host family as a gift?

I am going to Finland this summer for a month to live with a host family and im supposed to get them a host family gift. But i dont know what i should get! I want to get them something that has something to do with Michigan. All I know about them is that they like to sail and they like to go to their lake house. Yesterday i meet my girlfriends family after we eat the dinner my belly got ached because of the roasted turkey and i accidentally farted near her and her family and after his her mother and father drive away from their home now my girlfriend doesn’t talk with me should i apologize from her and her family ? We often hear about women saying how they want a man with a good family, etc, but men, not so much. Yes for some, but for the majority of men, from what I’ve seen, are okay with just having a nice woman, even if she doesn’t have a good family. Women are often told to carefully consider whether the guy has a good family, but men, it’s not so higly stressed. Why? This essential for women before marriage, but not so much for men. Why?
