What is the best food at Old Country Buffet?

My grandpa loves Old Country Buffet, and for some reason he does not seem to enjoy high-quality food. He has offered to take us there. I have never been there. Anyways, I am used to fine dining restaurants (not to gloat, just saying) and I know that Old Country Buffet does not have the best reputation for good food. I am going tomorrow and I only want to get the items that taste good. I know the taste must differ from location to location, but please give me your favorite menu items. Thanks!

I love snails,turtle,frog and crickets(as long as they are cooked right) but most people tell me A: I’m a horrible person for eating turtle and frog B: EWWWWW! But I live in the United States so food isn’t all that diverse. So what is the strangest food you have eaten and where did you eat it and did you find it yourself like I did with frogs and turtles?

Yesterday today and tomorrow we have soccer Tryouts and I am wondering what good food will give me good energy. Yesterday I tried to have no sugar, except breakfast, and I felt great but today I had soda and sugary drinks And quite a bit of it. So what good foods and drinks should I eat/drink. Oh yeah it’s 100 degrees and the sun is super bright.

For breakfast I’ll have an egg white omelet with reduced fat provolone cheese. I also snack on stuff like tofurkey and smart bacon. If anyone could recommend other vegetarian foods or food products that are high in protein and have minimal fat and carbs, that would be very helpful as I struggle to find meal options aside form the obvious tofu.
