Channel 7 NYC news story about a simple wifi hack that we have to be careful of?

Last night they kept advertising on Channel 7 that when it got to 11pm they were going to have a story about the newest danger of Wi-Fi and how anyone using this new hack could access our Wi-Fi. I started to watch the news,but of course I missed the last few minutes (where they always put the best stories or the most dangerous news that we must know.) So now I want to know just what they were talking about. Does anyone know the story?

I watched FOX news after the oil spill and I kept hearing people say we need to be careful not to criticize BP . Yet Obamas only been president for 2+ years and he’s dogged every night on FOX, Is this not a man were supposed to respect and support . I can’t understand how right wing loons can get away with bashing the commander in chief (every night) and yet BP should be exonerated . I think it has something to do with stocks ? What say you ?

In the news they talk about huge amounts of foreign money coming to influence the electorate, they never mention which countries, or which corporations are doing that, why? and who are these corporations or foreign countries? thank you for your answer, I understand why they are sending the money but not why aren’t the media mentioning who they are?

Why do news bulletins have similar fanfare music?

Having listened to Jazz FM and most recently LBC, I’ve been curious as to why news shows – whether they be on the radio or television – have loud fanfare music accompanying them. More to the point, I was wondering if there’s a particular reason why these pieces of music sound similar.
On a side note: has anyone noticed that music has generally gotten “louder”?
How does Fox News get away with using the “Fair and Balanced” tagline?

No law firm is willing to challenge them? Fox news is clearly misleading viewers with that statement. Obviously they have a right to support the Republican agenda but to present themselves as “Fair and Balanced” is ridiculous. Actually “Opinionated and Right”, you are incorrect. A business cannot market themselves “in anyway they want” if they are misleading the public. That was my point. I don’t mind the political views but the misleading tagline is ridiculous and actionable in court. What is the purpose of news? Do you think in today’s time the news is doing what its intention is?

I feel as if the purpose of the news is to provide us with information. But as I analyze the news, the stories that they are showing are not what they used to be. For example the news would consist mostly of war updates, or state what is going on. News today is more random stories that gets their station more viewers. Am I the only one who sees it that way?
