How do you find the IP addresses of all the computers on your network?
I know that every local machine has their own individual ip address to connecting to the router but how do you find those ips? Example: One large home network, 3 laptops connected by wireless connection. How do you find the Ip of all 3 of those computers. Another thing is once you have that IP, how can you monitor the internet history of that specific computer?

Access the information from your router. You can also use software out there that maps out your network.
You could do them individually by doing /ipconfig on each computer too.
To access the router, there is a long steps of processes but you would look under the connected devices. It is listed in there.
The software that maps out your network is used to see all the information passed on your computer and also shows your whole network setup.
EDIT: To monitor the history based on IP is not an option. You would need to setup a local program designed to log the information locally on the PC or basically setting up a Trojan in your own computer to copy all the information to your email or such.

What your referring to is the router…That is the device that is hooked up directly to the internet, and then broadcast’s a wireless radio signal that all your laptop’s pick up…
Now all router’s or at least the majority of them…have a web-based control panel to make any changes, or to monitor the router…
There should be some manual for your wireless router that enables you to look that up…Then you should have some way of viewing what computer’s are accessing your wireless network…
Now I am no wireless security expert …You will need some advanced knowledge or software to really determine the browsing history of people who use your network…
But the 1st step is making sure the wireless network is secure and that only the pc’s that you want to access the network should be allowed access to it…
That help some?

Download and install this free software: “Advanced IP Scanner”
(Google it and you’ll find)
It gives you all the IP addresses and MAC addresses as well of the computers in your network(LAN).

If you are using Windows XP | 2000 | NT. You can access the IP addresses by typing in the command window, type ‘ipconfig /all’.IP Address’ field states the current IP address for that network adapter and the ‘Physical Address’ field states the MAC address for that adapter. If you are using Windows 95 | 98 | ME. Type in the Run text box winipcfg.Use the drop-down menu near the top of the window to browse address information for alternate network adapters.
In a router there are two IP addresses: the internal IP and the external IP. The internal IP is usually set on its default value which is 192.168.1.1 for LInksys routers;192.168.123.254 for D-Link and Netgear routers; 192.168.2.1 for SMC router; the IP would vary depending on the brand of the router.Internal IP address should be provided in the product’s documentation. The external IP can be known by executing a ping or “traceroute” command.
