How long does it take Ortho Home Defense to start working?
I have earwigs, silverfish, spiders, and millipedes in my home. I sprayed Ortho Home Defense, but failed to shake well until half way through the application. I have two questions: 1) Does my failure to shake the bottle affect the effectiveness of the product? 2) How long does it take to start killing? I sprayed it 24 hours ago but found 3 spiders and 5 earwigs alive since the time that I sprayed. Will vote best answer. Thanks!

1) Failure to shake the can will not weaken the poison. It just won’t shoot as far a cross the room.
2) Did you spray by the square footage per the instructions on the can? If so it will work.
Ortho is a strong poison.
