i would think so yeah. I have never seen a test change once a result came up, (other than a digital one switching off after 24 hrs) and ive took a lot this passed yr lol. take another one for a second opinion. Good luck x
ps….there is not a negative line to be darker….there is a control line and a test line..
if u have one line u are not pregnant…. as a positive line will not fade away…i still have the one from my son and that was taken october 2001! as for a negative turning into a positive that is hard as u have to have hcg (the pregnancy hormone)in ur urine for a line to appear! MY gp said a positive is always a positive! I have 6 pregnancy tests this since 22nd oct all positive with no change to the result even after a week! and i have taken 26 other pregnancy tests the 13 months before that (whilst ttc) all negative and have not changed the result even now……I kept them all in a bag… all still say negative. result has never changed…tho someone has disagreed with me! i think out of all those tests not changing i think that is proof enough that they dont change!

Is it a digital one or the two lined ones?
If its a digital then yes its still accurate because digitals say Yes or No. Lined ones are the tricky ones, you shouldnt rely on a lined one after 5 mins. This is because of evaporated lines, air can get into the pregnancy test and it will evaporate on both of the lines, making the negative line look darker.
To be more sure, get a digital test since they dont have lines. Good luck!

No. After the time limit mentioned in the instructions the chemicals in the test break down and change. That can cause lines to appear or disappear.
Consider whatever result you got as invalid, and retest when you have some time to yourself.
