I say it’s the emotions. If you’re not completely devastated/heartbroken when your team loses in the championship or completed elated when they win the championship, then you’re not a true sports fan.

If you are looking to go on vacation by yourself, and get the most bang for your buck I would suggest going on a cruise. They start out at around $400 per person for a 3-5 night cruise. This would be for the Carribbean or Mexico cruises. You can get a small inside room really cheap, and many times if you go to a travel agent they can give you an inexpensive package deal which includes your airfare getting to Florida to start your cruise. I have found that Carnival cruises has the cheapest fares, food and some drinks are included.
You get to choose from activities like scuba diving with manta rays and a rainforest hike to a party boat with all the rum you can drink and casino night, most for under $50 per activity. Plus you can just have fun and meet new people by going to the free shows at night, playing bingo, going to a dance in the lounge, and sitting in the jacuzzi.
Like I stated above, the food on the ship is amazing! And you will not go hungry. There is room service if you do not want to get out of bed. There are buffets for each meal, or you can go fancy and eat in the dining room. If you are traveling alone, you do not have to eat alone. You can choose to be placed at a table with 7-9 other passengers, or you can choose to eat at your own table or booth. If you do not like what anyone is serving, on some of the ships there are even specialty restaurants on deck where you can get a sub sandwich or chinese food. There is also the awesome midnight buffets which have food and ice sculptures and fresh fruit and meats and cheeses for those late nights. Even if you aren’t hungry, you should check one of those out.
