Social sciences question, case study. Help please?
Case Study:
Sarah is a single mom of 6 year old twin boys. They just moved into an apartment and she has a job at a local factory. Their apartment burnt down and they lost everything they owned. Sarah has no friends or family to rely on for support. What are some strategies to prevent Sarah from becoming another homeless statistic?
This is fiction, but even so, please don’t say “shes screwed!” because that’s really heartless and stuff like this does actually happen to people
So warm answers please!

Renter’s insurance is always a plus. If she is starting from nothing though, she should make some friends, to start. She could take out a loan to get security and first months rent on a new apartment. She could also ask her old landlord for compensation if it wasn’t her fault. Shelters can be helpful, but you can also catch TB and get caught up with the crack crowd (they steal your stuff, try to make money using your children, etc…) I’m sure any good church would put them up for a few nights. Main thing is to only spend on necessities.
