If you don’t know what I mean press and hold CTRL + ALT and then press the arrow keys and the display will flip in accordance with whichever arrow key you press.
Anyway, what was that invented for? Since on most computers you cannot use them any other way than upright.

I’m all for education; it’s absolutely wonderful, but I do think sometimes that education is a bit strict at times and does not allow society to fully flourish. What do you think?

This in turn leads to the “necessary” dumbing down of education Cody, we provide equal opportunity and then force people to go to school…. What sense does that make? Look at myself, I dont even know how to differentiate between the different there’s,of course Im dyslexic
Does Chinese and Japanese language interfere with Asian students’ ability to excel in education?

For example, a Japanese student who wants to go to Engineering would have to memorize hundreds of Chinese letters to first start the Engineering course (they need to take a class for learning the Kanzis!), whereas English you learn the phonetic sound and spelling while you are in an Engineering class. Japanese students will struggle doing studies in it due to its language but English will not interfere at all. Do you agree? PS. I did not put this question in Language section because I want the education perspective.
Will having a ruptured ectopic pregnancy surgery 10 years ago affect my ability to serve in the reserves?

I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy in 2001, surgically repaired, and have no problems or issues since then. I also was hospitalized for dehydration two years ago. The recruiter has asked for copies of medical records for their doctors to review. Will these minor and already “fixed” medical issues disqualify me for service?

I’ve noticed the guys (and girls) who are the most athletically talented have really high self-confidence. A lot of athletes (both pro and amateur) say that believing you can do a certain movement is the most important in terms of doing it right. Alternatively, geeks and non-athletic people typically have low self-confidence in many aspects of life, including sports. Is it fair to say that developing high confidence and practicing frequently would make these individuals more athletic?

It seems that neither party will ever be able to pass any sort of meaningful reform on any issue due to blind and vehement opposition. People seem less concerned now with facts than their “team” winning. How bad has it gotten? Will we ever agree enough to get anything done?
