I’ve read all over the net that your get blue veins on your breasts during pregnancy, so I’m just a bit curious about this because I’ve always had blue veins on my breasts. They aren’t very dark, but I can definitely see them. Is this normal? Or are the blue veins REALLY dark and noticeable when pregnant? What do they look like?

Does having a bad sleep schedule during the summer affect my health and well-being?

I have been going to bed at 430-530 am pretty much the whole summer and sleeping in until sometimes as late as 3 pm. I am worried that this is bad for my health, since i am a 14 year old girl. I try to fall asleep earlier, but i can’t fall asleep because of my anxiety. Will i be able to adapt back to a better schedule when school starts, in about 2 weeks? Or can i seek help from taking melatonin before i go to bed?

How to treat a urinary tract infection during pregnancy?

My friend in Europe was told by her doctor to take medicine for urinary tract infection and, when I look at this medicine description in English, I see it is contraindicated during pregnancy. Doctor has tried to scare her into taking the medicine, saying such infection could very possibly go to her kidneys and cause terrible troubles. But if a medicine is worse than the disease, what can be done?!

What was your experience with showing during pregnancy?

With my son I didn’t start showing till I was 7 months pregnant (first pregnancy). With my daughter I didn’t start showing till I was 8 months (second pregnancy). I am now entering my 4th month with my third (and already showed at 12 weeks, now I am in my 16th week). I thought with each one you started showing sooner and sooner cause of the muscles being lax. How is it possible that I didn’t start showing sooner (in fact showed later) with my second and am showing way sooner with my third?
What are some safe ways to maintain higher energy levels during pregnancy?

I’m trying to be more prepared with this baby than I was with my daughter. Now that I have a toddler to run after I need to keep my energy levels up. During my first pregnancy I would easily become exhausted within the first few hours of the day, especially during the first trimester. So what are some safe ways to keep my energy up throughout the day? What worked for you?

Whats the earliest you can start to have craving during pregnancy?

I am six weeks pregnant and was wondering how early can cravings start? I craved a salad earlier, made chicken ramen with ranch in it, and milk really sounds good. Are these normal for this time in pregnancy? I really don’t like any of the foods named but craved them. Please give tips or advice to a first time mom-to-be as well.
