We’re having a party at the end of July. In the afternoon when we have close friends and family coming we’re having a fairly traditional buffet. In the evening we have lots of friends coming and we want to provvide finger food. The thing is, I don’t want to be doing loads of prep halfway through the party. I was thinking of doing something which can be prepared in advance, plated up and then served cold in the evening. yeah pretty stupid question i know.but there’s like 2 chocolate syrup bottles lying around at home and i don’t know what to make with it or how can i include it in a food dish.i don’t wanna throw it away becuz it’s a waste of food and money.

I cook my food on weekends usually for the entire week and then store it away in the fridge. When I make something dry like pasta with some veggies, the pasta starts to get dry and sticky with every passing day.. Any suggestions/tips on how I can keep this from happening?

There are lots of food websites that are trapped in providing recipes and forums. That’s fine, but in most ways it doesn’t make the shopping/cooking easier or that much cheaper.
What’s missing in those food websites? Some general ideas to kick things off are: - nutrition info - Recommendations based on providing some basic likes/dislikes -Connecting shopping lists to your mobile phone. -Getting kids to eat healthier

What food can I serve at my birthday party?

I need some advice on what to do for my birthday party. It’s going to be hosted at my house in the garden and I need some sort of food. I was planning to hire a hog roast, but they’ve already all been booked out in my area. I’m already catering for a picnic I’m attending earlier in the day, so would preferably like to have something relatively stress free. I’ve considered the option of a BBQ, but this doesn’t seem practical with 50 people. Thanks.

Carbohydrate food can get full and they are cheap, but it does not have nutrition. I heard meat has lots of nutrition and it can make stomach full, so I eat meat. But they cost lot, and tastes get board.

I could never eat tomato sauce in my last pregnancy because it gave me indigestion and heartburn but this time it’s different so I find myself wanting to eat the red sauce all the time no matter what it is. Today I had a burger with chili and cheese on it … Yummy!
