Where do you get your news and current events information?

I am so frustrated with the so called “journalistic media” these days. That is across the board – the major networks, CNN, Fox News – all of them. Everyone has their own biases and agendas. Nothing seems to be reported honestly, completely and objectively anymore. There is little to no “hard news” and real journalism. And don’t even get me started on our horrible local news TV stations (so self serving and self promoting) or our local newspaper. It just all seems to suck basically.

How do people who write news articles on the internet get their news information and pictures?

How do people who have their own websites and who post new articles and pictures get their information? Do they get it from the Associated Press and is their some place one can get news information to post on their websites? I would like to start my own website, but I would like to have breaking news information on my page. Where can I get news informations from?
