What Colleges/Universities offer Majors in Education for the Blind or Hearing Impaired?

I want to be a teacher for either the Blind or Deaf, but when I look on the internet I can never find any Major in Education for them. What I am thinking of to be a teacher for the hearing impaired is get a Double Major in Education and Speech Therapy/Pathology. Any suggestions?

Is there a difference between a Social Studies Education and a History Education majors?

I am thinking about transferring schools and currently a social studies education major. The school that I want to transfer to doesn’t have social studies education but instead history education. I want to be a teacher that teaches a broad range of social studies (history, civics, economics, and geography). I need to know if I can do the same thing as a history education major.

I was wondering if anyone knew or have went through an education program and what it’s like in the program? What kind of things are you learning? What are the method classes and course loads like? Is it overwhelming??? Are you in the classroom doing internships for your method classes or is there a balance of lectures and interning? If you have anything you would like to add, it would be appreciated! Thank you
