Ok so for school I have to do an article about something that has or could have an impact on us but I can’t seem to find anything that could really impact us. Do you know of any news that just happened or something? Or good news websites with a lot of articles that I could write about. Preferable in Utah, Arizona, or anywhere around here but anything is fine. Thanks in advance.

Why do they do this?
For example you just had that hurricane on the east coast.
They comment on the news story with words such as “Devastating.”
Why?
Why do they have to use those words? Why don’t they just say ” Oh well, its a hurricane. What ya gonna do about it?”
Instead of ” Oh those poor people have lost everything. It is so devastating.”

I am on a news team we are on for a whole week and we alternate weeks with two other groups…..our news is the worst and we need ideas for stuff we can do daily( we do word of the day lunch and thats about it) weekly ideas (we do espn every friday) and monthly ideas as well as any like triva or contests…..please help so our news will improve!

Every week in Spanish class, I have to report on a current even in Equatorial Guinea. Only problem? I can’t find a single major news source that gives a hoot about EG. We’re only 2 and a half weeks into the class, and my grade is already starting to suffer. Anyone have any suggestions?
