I want a pet that is relatively easy to take care of but I want one that would be fine without being around others of their own kind. I would like a rodent of some sort. What animal would best fit this description.
What are good fish as pets for fish beginners?

I want to have a fish tank. Salt water or Fresh water. Something pretty easy to take care of. Can you give me some ideas? Thanks. I also want something that will live longer than a few months.. I do realize I will have to put care into it, and I will.
How many pets do you have and what percent of them are from shelters?

I have 3 and 100% from shelters. 2 others before them were 1 rescue that was brought to a vet for adoption and the other was from a want ad that the pet place just got all the kittens and gave away, which included all the shots and vet visits (in hopes you bought a bunch of supplies from them in the process). Also had a bunny that was a lost pet/rescue.
How do people adopt pets over the internet?

I’ve found 2 boy guinea pigs for sale I really want to get them. But I want to make sure they are good pets before I get one. Do they bite? Can you hold them a lot? And how do I convince my dad to get me one or two?

I am recently turned 13 and am interested in spending my money on a pet. We already have a dog and my dad is allergic to cats. I also hate snakes, frogs, lizards, and turtles. What pet should I get. and what supplies would I need?

I’m looking for a pet that would be OK with coming with me on trips (by air or car). Most will probably be week-long excursions once or twice a month. I’m assuming a dog or cat would be out (unless maybe there’s a certain breed I don’t know about that isn’t easily fazed?). What kind of laid-back buddy should I get?
