What I always assumed was that a friend or relative took care of the pet… or sadly the poor thing was placed up for adoption.

I have noticed that many people leave their computers on all day for some reason. I would like to know why and if its better or worse for the computer than to just turn it off. Also, is it more efficient to leave it on?
Anyway, the only thing I would like to know is why do many people leave their computers on all day and if you are one of them, why?
Do veterinarians that have pets take their pets to other vets or treat their own pets themselves?

I fantasized about being a vet because I love animals and I can treat my own pets for free without a vet and treat a wounded bird that I find in my backyard.Do they treat their own pets or take them to other vets
Is anyone here agnostic or an atheist and afraid to admit it to their friends and family?

I’m pretty much half and half of both, not really sure which one I am fully, but my mom and my grandfather and all three of my best friends are Christian, some of them very. And I’m wondering if anyone else here a little scared to tell the people in their family and friends that they don’t believe what they think at all?
is it true people start to look like their pets?

I am concerned because i have a cat and a dog (a bassett hound) however if i could choose i would rather look more like the cat (he is quite sharp looking)
i certainly dont want to look like the dog.
What should i do?
I love both my pets very much by the way.

Is it possible for mental health professionals to maintain their objectivity?

I have heard of situations in which mental health professionals have treated clients whom they personally disliked. If a counselor, psychiatrist, psychologist, or social worker actually dislikes a client, does he/she really have any business treating that person? After all, doesn’t a client have the right to be treated by a professional who has his/her best interests at heart and actually cares about his/her welfare?
Have there been any studies about people who talk for their pets?

Not necessarily people who talk TO their pets, but, more specifically, people who speak for their pets.
