What is the the title for people who write the storyline of video games?

I love video games, especially RPGs, and at some point I want to help write the storyline for some. Basically, I want to be one of those guys who pitches ideas for games like The Legend of Zelda, Mario, etc., but I don’t know the official title for people who do this as a profession. What exactly do I want to call myself?

I want a website that lists and explains all the positives of playing video games. I want to prove to my parents that video games are not just a waste of time and that they can help you in life. For example they can give you quick thinking skills. IM NOT asking for the sake of making a website. I actually want to show my parents a website which shows the benefits of video games and how they help you get away from the real world.

Looking to purchase a 3ccd Camcorder. The camera would be used to film real estate video tours. I was a photojournalist for the news for about 10 years, so I know how to bring a bit of creativity when shooting. The technology in video cameras has evolved so much in recent years.
