well local news already has very little filler, but all the national news channels are a bit overdone with the stories they air , so if they changed that i would probably watch them more often

Just news is just fine.If I want entertainment, I just change channels. Besides the entertainment News channel provide may not be my choice of entertainment. I also do not care for gossip regarding pvt lives of stars. There should be a separate channel for all that garbage.

no, that would probably get really boring after a while but news is good if it is interesting or catastrophic.
