What are the Best Pets for an Apartment?
I live in an apartment with 2 guys (1 is my best friend & the other is my Boyfriend) and we live a pretty active college lifestyle… I’ve been thinking about a sugar glider. I want a cool neat pet that’s not stupid.
I am allergic to dogs and I already have 7 beta fish…
Let me know what are good ideas!

what about a cat?

Go ahead, get a sugar glider!
Or, if you dont mind them, buy a hamster or some other rodent.
Snakes and turtles are also “cool” and “neat” so if your not scared of those….
Id also reccommend a cat. Theyre not stupid….that much….but they make good companions and if you teach it to use the litterbox properly, you wont have much of a problem.

Sugar gliders are good apt. pets, but they do require a lot of attention. Other good apt. pets could be a ferret, hedgehog, chinchilla, rats, parakeets, guinea pigs, snakes, turtles, etc.
One thing I do recommend is research each of these animals thoroughly before purchasing one. Make sure you are willing to take care of them for the next several years. Also, some of these pets are better in twos. All of them are very social animals and would be much happier if you had two of them.

A good apartment pet, for someone with a busy life style……something in a cage………
Rats are cool, but I would suggest 2 so they can keep each other company while you are away.
How about a chameleon? They look cool.

A rabbit. I have two. You can potty train them. They make absolutly no noise, unless they are in pain of course, but I have never heard mine make a peep. They are so lovable and clean. You dont even have to bathe them. they clean themselves. They do like to chew on cords, but as long as they are picked up off the floor, then there is no problem. I only lost 1 cord in 3 years. I think thats pretty good. They do not smell at all, and they are just the best pets ever!
