along with industrialization, the environment suffers a lot. that is why, most of the progressive countries here in the world are experiencing major changes in their weather and climate.

i think the environment today is not the same as before. westernization and civilization has brought up about a lot of difference and have caused great harmful effects to the environment. development improves the standard of living but it also polluting or disturbing the nature. therefore improvement in the development method should be reconsidered. minimum effect should be caused to the environment. for example, clearing forests or mass land areas for construction, yes this has increased in the production of goods and services and raised the economic growth, but what effect has it caused to the environment. rare species may now have extinct and common species are now becoming rare. very soon there will no longer any species to see. either it development or anything related to environment, preservation of the environment is a must.

It is in a deplorable condition, thanks to humankind’s inability to understand that our future generation has nowhere else to go if our destruction of the environment continues. Nevertheless, all hope is not lost, because fortunately, the damage we have done is not yet irreversible. If we realise our faults and errors and act on them, we can save our world and make pollution a chapter in the history textbooks. We have to act quickly, because procrastination will result in us having to move to the moon, because our Earth is dead

The environment is in OK shaped but needs help from human intervention to continue.
The air and water are cleaner than they were in the 60′s and 70′s when we had rivers catching on fire and DDT being sprayed through our neighborhoods.
Wildlife is returning to rivers long thought dead, but I think people are really detached from the environment and have no idea of there daily living effects.
Continued positive progress will require human intervention, such as invasive species, reducing catastrophic wildfire, global warming, overdelopment, etc.
